Clean Cocos is a self-service laundry, which means there is no staff on-site to help you get started. We understand that using the laundry for the first time can feel confusing. That’s why we’ve created this user guide to make it easier for you to use Clean Cocos laundromats for the first time.

At Clean Kokos, we have both washing machines and dryers, and it’s not always easy to see the difference between them. Luckily, all our laundromats are designed the same way, with laundry towers where the washing machines are at the bottom and the dryers on top. So, the dryers are placed above the washing machines in the laundromat. You can use only the washing machine, only the dryer, or both – it’s up to you and your needs.

Pull the handle of the machine. The handle is located below the drum and marked in yellow. On the washing machine, the handle is on the top left side of the drum, while on the dryer it is on the top right side of the drum.

If the machine is completely turned off, you can switch it on by pressing the on/off button located in the top right corner of the machine.

Turn on the machine by touching the screen or pressing the start/stop button.

Yes, you can choose between several different languages. To change the language, you must use the touch screen on the machine. Press the flag icons in the left corner of the display screen to bring up the different language options. Press and select the language you want.

Once you’ve found the wash or dry program you want to use, select the program by tapping it on the screen.

Once you’ve found and selected the wash or dry program you want to use, start the program by pressing the Start/Stop button on the right side of the screen. Remember, you must pay via the app or card terminal for the washing or drying to begin.

Tap the back button – the arrow that lights up in the lower left corner of the screen.
We recommend that you empty the lint filter inside the drum before starting a drying program. It’s also a good idea to do this after your drying program is finished – it makes for a nicer experience for the next person using the machine. Remove the grey lint filter from the machine and clean out any lint if needed. Dispose of the lint in the regular trash bin in the laundromat – do not throw lint in the sink.

We recommend that you empty your pockets and shake your garments before washing them at Clean Cocos. Also check the rubber ring on your washing machine after the wash is finished – it makes for a nicer experience for the next person using the machine. Please dispose of all waste in the regular trash bin in the laundromat.
