One of the most common mistakes in laundry is overdosing of detergents. Too much detergent means that clothes need to be rinsed more, leading to increased water consumption. It can also lead to soap residues in the clothes which can irritate the skin and damage your clothes. At Clean Kokos, you don't have to think about detergent or dosing when you're going to wash clothes. The detergent is included in the price for a wash, and is automatically dosed at the start of a washing machine. The machine measures weight, degree of dirtiness and water hardness before it doses the correct amount of detergent and water for a perfect wash result.

Clean Kokos does not use fabric softener or rinse aid. We use detergent from Ecolab, one for wool and one for the remaining washing programs. The detergents are fragrance-free and hypoallergenic.

At Clean Kokos, we use the same programs and detergent for white and colored clothes. The detergent Ecobrite Emulsion Clean from Ecolab is used in all washing programs except the wool program. Ecobrite Emulsion Clean is a highly effective liquid detergent without optical white and phosphate. The detergent is suitable for all washable textiles, except wool and silk. Ecobrite Emulsion Clean is fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. The detergent does not contain microplastics or plastic glue that can turn into microplastics when dissolved.

At Clean Kokos, we use the Ecobrite Detergent M from Ecolab in the wool program. Ecobrite Detergent M is a liquid quality detergent based on pure soap. The detergent is without optical white and is suitable for all types of textile washing. Ecobrite Detergent M is fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. The detergent does not contain microplastics or plastic glue that can turn into microplastics when dissolved.
